I was born and raised in Bloemfontein, in the Free State, South Africa were we until I was 16 years old. I know live in a small town in the Western Cape named Oudtshoorn, in the little Karoo.

 

As a child I always imagined my self-taking photos of various items and nature. Unfortunately I didn’t have a camera.  I remember one year for Christmas I got a small camera, I was so disappointed I didn’t even wanted the camera.  One day on our way to a family gathering I saw a nature scene were the sun was setting, with the clouds and mountains making part of this spectacular moment, I then thought by myself,  it would make a wonderful photo!!  This was the very moment where I started to pursue my passion for photography, and I never regret what photography can do for a human being. I completed a course at an institute called ‘The Photography Institute’ to broaden my horizon photography.

 

I want to tank my parents, and my sister, but mostly to my mother, for motivating me when things got though.
